  1. Hi I am Jillian Lurie from the fifth grade in America. I watch that program too. I love it. What are pounds? Pounds in America are how much you weigh. If you are talking about money we have dollars as our money. Does holiday mean vacation? I think the show is VERY funny

  2. Hi I am Elizabeth McGee and I am in fifth grade in America! There is a show that I know of that is called Kate plus eight. It is sort of like that show because she has a lot of children too! When you said it cost them 350 pounds, do pounds mean money? That's what we call it here. Also, does Holiday mean vacation?

  3. Hi there, Katie means pounds as in our currency, British Pounds Sterling which are like your American dollars. There are 100 pence in a pound, like your cents and dollars. We also have 10 pence pieces - like dimes, 5 pence pieces - like nickels, 20 pence peices and 50 pence pieces. We also use pounds (lbs) to measure mass aswell as using kilograms. Holiday does mean vacation over here, we don't use the word vacation but would say, "I'm going on holiday!"

What are your favorite T.V shows over there. My favorite is Toddlers and Tiaras. Its about these little girl who compete in Beauty Pageants. it's really funny.
